Well there were a few guys who experienced the same thing and said they upgraded their PSU's from around 350W's to 500W+ and they don't see the problem anymore.

The reason I don't think its a CPU bottleneck is because it ran just fine with my 9800 Pro. Yes, I tried a complete uninstall and reinstall of BF2 as well with no change at all.

Guys, that's not cool. I've had VPU recoveries and random reboots... You don't think my PSU's giving up the ghost, do ya? Uh-oh... Smells like trouble for Nettles's pocket-book.

yep, whether its on medium or high settings, doesn't make a difference.
haven't checked the wires though. Its not too big a deal since I was looking into getting a better PSU anyways.

It's an antec, I wouldn't doubt it at all. I'll never own another antec PSU.

so, what PSU should I look at? I'm probably gonna scour the forums for one, I'll have about $75 to spend. Any thoughts?

Seconded, but no money at the moment (I HATE DEBT) What are some that could run this system w/o too much of an investment. No cheap stuff, just quality. FSP is good AND cheaply priced, correct?

No he's talking about Forton Source lol

Yeah actually FSP is good, but I think most of the current ones use split rails. Still good though, I have one and it is a beast.
