Turion64 X2 vs Core Duo

With price wars starting between Intel and AMD, laptops are just now starting to taking a dive in prices too. You can get a Turion64 X2 notebook for under $800, or about $100 more than a cheap Sempron notebook.

Problem is, I can't find many sites that put the Core Duo up against a Turion64 X2 in a notebook review.

So far:

I know they run cooler.
I know they are cheaper.
I know that per core, the X2's sliced the cache in half (2x 512KB) compared to single core T64's.

Anyone have an T64X2 that can shed some light on how well this new chip performs?

Dd you know if there's any power consumption differences between the two? I've got a core duo laptop and I can squeeze out 10 hours between charges.

I don't know much about that. What i know you had already written over there.

One thing which i know that Intel core 2 duo is consuming less power as compare to AMDs turion X2. Thats why it gives more battery back up in notebooks.
