Nice job so far rhino, just remember that ground (green wire) on the inverter is isolated and is not ground on your truck.

yeah i am running it to the ground on the plug only. i dont want anything 110 volts mixing into my 12v auto system. that could be costly.

You know if that thing gets wet, it will probably fry on you.
If you drive in the rain, I think it will get moisture in it.

What are your pland to seal it up?
I would cover/paint the PCB of that thing with liquid electrical tape on both sides.

it has a small fan and will be pulling air from the inside fender, it may be humid air but it wont ever get splashed or wet.
one thing i may have to be careful of is condensation.

but i wont need to run it all the time so i can control when it has power thru it.
like if its pouring down rain i can cut it off.
ive got all the wires ran i just need to hook up the power, re configure my air intake, get some kind of elbow to divert the air from the fender to the unit.

Does the power switch cut-off the supply power from the battery?

BTW, I like to pressure wash under the hoods of my cars  been doing it for years and years. Believe me when someone else has to work on my cars they notice how clean they are and good mechanics usually comment on it.
