Me... I lost tons o weight!

Or as I say to my wife: Someone has stolen mine weights!

Really. As I said in the live-chat thingy... I've gone from a size 64 waist (and likely bigger since i hated wearing jeans, and 64 jeans were very tight on me) down to a loose 56. Thats 8+ inches I've taken off in around 2 months.

I cut out Pop (except for special occasions). I drink Juice and Water now. I eat a lot less (down from 3-4 plates per meal to about 3/4 a plate per meal) and eat healthier meals now. More active (will be a lot more so when my daughter is born and I get to working in my garden again this spring/summer).

It used to be I couldn't fit in the 'wide-ass' chairs at restaurants or in the movies. Now I can fit and am COMFORTABLE.

I'm not stopping here though. I hope to lose another 8-10 inches off my waist by december (if it goes at this pace, it may happen by june or july!). Once there, I'll try to get to 40/38 and call that a stopping point. For me, that would mean having lost 275-300lbs.

I'm already feeling better with the 125-130ish (estimated) i've lost already. My knees don't hurt to stand up. My ankles hurt less. I can breathe easier. I don't have to put the seat back in cars anymore because my belly is in the way of the steering wheel... thus it's made driving easier!

It feels nice, and I didn't do it by gastric bypass or any other surgery. Just willpower and constant help from my wife to keep me from going back on what I'm doing.

Inspiration? The thought that my yet to be born daughter (1 week to go to inducement date as of today) might grow up without a dad because he ate himself to death. I didn't want that to happen.

The hardest part wasn't cutting back on food. Christina helped me with that and from june-december, i managed to cut way back to where i eat as much, if not less than she does, and she had gastric-bypass surgery 4 years ago! The hardest part was cutting out the soda/sugar drinks. I had to cold-turkey those.

Once I cut them out, it was just a matter of everytime i had the urge to drink them, chug down water till i was 'sick of it'. I'd often be chugging 4-5 gallons of water a day. as a side-effect, i'd hafta pee every hour on the hour. and boy, did it stink. it smelled like a skunk died in my bladder. then about 4-5 weeks into the 'cold turkey' on the soda, i quit having urges to drink so much, and my urine quit smelling so bad. in fact, it's smell free now. I'm down to about 1 to 2 gallons of water a day now, and i feel much more energy than I had.

Like I said in the first post, I hope to lose another 8-10 inches off my waist. That will mean me being smaller than I was in highschool when i graduated in 2001.

THANK YOU so much for the update, Frank!!!! Yes your body was no doubt toxified and I'm thrilled to hear that you are de-toxing it! I fasted yesterday (one way that I detox) and I feel SO good today. I'm alive and on top of the world! Gosh I"m proud of you and look forward to hearing more and more of your success!

Also, can't wait to see pics of that baby girl!

GOOD JOB MAN! It's hard to go for 2-3 to one plate, I've tried and failed. I'm still young but I've finally started putting on a few unwanted. Again, good job man. I've found I don't gain as fast if I use an 8:30 rule, no eating or drinking anything but water after that. KEEP IT UP! and congrats
