Big-shots need to be consulted first, but I have found a couple of interesting styles on the net that somehow have a Cryo feel.
Just to see which stimulates the most interest,
please cast your Vote just once.

Use these options respectively in the POLL.

Feel free to use this thread to link any other styles you like, and of course discuss the above samples.

as i am one of the 3 powers (reminds me of charmed.. 3 witchs.. bah u people dont watch enough tv)

keep in mind, that the only thing tookin from the other sites is the images of the icons, like post reply or the if a post is new and stuff.

for the other powers, mods... changing the templte can mess up some things..as subsilver (phpbb2 defalte theme) all edits go tho subsilver..thus changing somethign can change alot more then just.. how things work....

if u understand what i just said..

I figured that much WJ, but thanks for clarifying.
This is in no way a final-decision making thread.
Merely a peek into our user base and what people in it would like in terms of forum-style.

Adopting one of these styles in full, instead of SubSilver would be how hard?

i do because we tried that once way back 7 versions ago and there has been so many different tweaks now to the subsilver that i think a different template would cause some serious compatability issues that would be beyond repairing.
last time we tried a different theme it went crash and it wasnt just one futile attempt. there was hours of trying to get things right.

i think with proper icons and tweaking this theme more we can do wonders.
there is nothing worse than mysql errors that cant be repaired.
just ask WJ how many times we have dealt with it until 5 am sometimes.
not fun at all.

as long as they arent forums that would be a blatant violation against the rules. we encourage a link to your own forum in sigs, and also encourage the sharing of information. were not a nazi camp like some forums lol
