If you want to have some fun with dry ice, I know something real nice you can do. Get some dry ice and put it in a 20oz coke bottle. Then pour some water in it, quickly recap it, and throw it far away. Very fun.

We did it with a 2-liter bottle once. Set it out in the yard and put a bucket over it. Blew the bucket to pieces and sent em flying. The things are louder than gun shots.

If you guys like thrills, put the dry ice in a glass bottle (BE VERY CAREFUL) The bottle will shatter, so you want to be VERY far away when it does

My mom is a nurse practitioner. Since refrigerated medicines are shipped in styrofoam containers packed with dry ice, she would bring the container of dry ice home. They had no use for it anyway.

At my old job we would sometimes get big blocks of dry ice we would chip away at it and load it into the 20oz plastic bottles laying around. Then chuck them off into the river. goo d times...
