Mach 1, Can the head be disassembled?

I'm brand new to phase, and acquired an old Mach 1.

Mine has no temperature probe in the evaporator head.

Can the square black and white plastic head be disassembled and modified to include a temp probe?

yes, its basically full of that expanding foam type stuff. it will come apart though
