if anyone can find out how to ..decode my words of what i talk about..then hell Cerberus2k7 sure can.. and yes thats one of the things i did

(for easyer ways to do that little..trick. change from hex to dec and use what you got on your cpu ..256 ,512,1024 ..insted of 0 200 400..and such

Why are we discussing cooling in underground disc. ?

I think I will move this to the cooling section even though it remotely relates to cooling and is more on topic of tricking thermal diodes.


Either way, that is quite interesting. When I first saw that I either thought you screwed up the thermal diode or was doing some liquid nitrogen. Dry ice gets pretty cold too.

Just out of curiosity, if your CPU is really at -40, why would it be throttling in the first place? So what's the point in tricking it to think it's -112? It shouldn't be throttling unless you are in the + temps. For AMD64 users, you can use AMD's dashboard to see if your CPU is throttling and the level it's throttling at. Just remember that Cool'n'Quiet throttles the CPU to 50% (or level set in bios) when CPU is not being used.
