Heating Problem!!

I have a Pentium IV 3.0 Ghz processor. It was working fine till last week. But now it start creating problems. I think it is due over heating. I have only one fan on processor. What should i do to keep it cool?

Should i go for a one more fan at my cabinet or some thing else?
Please suggest some good and less costly options!

Well first off you should see how hot it actually is, try using speedfan it should tell you your temps. Make sure you heatsink isn't plugged up with dust. Let us know what the temps are.

You know I had a problem a few weeks ago with my computer. kept randomly turning off! Downloaded speedfan and it told me my CPU was at 120 degrees celcius. I didn't know what to do so gave it to professionals to do the work lol. It's fine now !

Dowload speedfan:
